I just wanted to introduce myself here--I am Erika O'Malley and I'm the new Art History person in the department. As you probably already know, I specialize in Buddhist Art in Southeast Asia, (the earlier the better) and I'm particularly interested in how (religious) ideas get passed around and spread geographically using physical objects.
